That sounds like an interesting idea.

Ooo, this could be fun!! >=3
We'll have to discuss this more on MSN/WLM - so I don't mess-up.
I just read your last post and it made me lol!! XDDD

Actually, I got something to run past you on MSN as well, Rickettz; to do with how our characters react with each other.

Re: Battlespace Intergalactica
Rick, you're gonna have to start the training off coz I tried, but I just come across too many questions.
I have no idea what you had in-mind. I mean, sounds are muffled by headphones even when there's no music playing. So I guess the headphones would come after the easier training?
And I dunno if you wanna use real objects or just recorded sounds for the pinpointing? I dunno because, recorded sounds would make more sense in a way, but at the same time, sometimes you can sense something even if you can't hear it. And that obviously wouldn't work with simple recordings.
So I dunno how you wanted to go about the whole thing. Anyways, you haven't made a proper post in a while, and it was your idea. So you do it. =p

*chibi 3yr old Rick* no, you do it!
*time machine wears off* right... now that my childish moment is over. Real objects.... because it had been proven that hair on your skin picks up air movement, even on a minute scale, so it would always be done with real objects to get you skin and ears used to smaller and smaller things.
Felpurr's have acute senses (hearing & touch included) as do most modern-day cats. Think on it.

I could actually be of some use with helping you with the training, Kitai. You may remember Ron's character Aiko "The Killing Puppet" Getsumei. I made a character that was to be used in conjuction with Aiko; Kitty Pryde. She was essentially a cat in many respects, right down to the amount of lives she had.

It's not the character I'm having problems with. It's just that I think Rick should at least start-off the training as he had the idea in the first place, and has ideas/plans for it.
And after talking to him about it on WLM, I found out just how much I almost ruined the whole thing by nearly posting the other night. So yeah. Compared to Rick; I have no idea how the training will actually work.
So there's no point me posting about it until I've read about it and got a feel for it first.

If you read my story "Cat In The Snake Pit", there is a bit about training without the use of her sight.

Re: Battlespace Intergalactica
I've drawn an (almost) complete blank with my next post... otherwise I woulda posted daaays ago.
But it's okay, I'm sure I'll think of something (with a little help, most likely). ^^
