    Keitaro couldn't help laughing a little as the girl fell flat on her rear trying to take the corner backwards. He rolled up beside her and offered her his hand.
    "That was clever, bet you couldn't do it again." He joked.
    "Funny..." She replied sarcastically and she took his hand and allowed herself to be helped to her feet.
    "Maybe you should keep your eyes front." He laughed as she dusted herself off.

    Akiko giggles before riding off again, leading him down the street to a small shop full of the usual every things such as newspapers, candy bars, drinks, and the like. And it isn't long before she finds all the sugar loaded products she wants for the day. A generous handfull of colourful lolly pops, and a good few fizzy drink cans, along with some fruit flavoured candy laces, and she's ready to go. Well, almost.

    "You getting anything?" She asks Keitaro as she grabs herself one last thing; a lemonade flavoured ice-lolly she can have on the way to school.

    Keitaro denied his hunger, to begin with. He hadn't planned on eating until lunch. Now that he was in the shop, though, his hunger was quite persistant. He grabbed himself a sandwich. He reached for the cans, but turned to the girl.
    "Do you mind if I pinched one of your drinks?" He asked her.

    Okusa awoke to the sound of traffic. Although he gains a lot of money for repairing ATs, most of his cash is saved up or used for food or washing clothing. Arranging a permanent residence has never been his forte.
    Currently he was squatting with some homeless people in an abandoned apartment north of town. The other residents never bothered him, they just wanted a dry and warm place to sleep. Tis more the pity the apartment itself is based near a busy road.
    "Ugh", he said, while sniffing himself, "Time for the daily ritual of a bath house..."

    Akiko giggles, poking her tongue, before heading to the cashier to pay for all her stuff.

    "I'd take what you can before we're out of stock again." The man behind the counter laughs to Keitaro. "She's quite the sugar absurber."

    "Hehee!" Akiko grins. "Sugary sweets keep me light on my feets!" She chants joyfully, handing over some money, and then fiddling about trying to fit everything into her bag.

    Keitaro giggled slightly as the cashier joked about the girl.
    "Ok." he said as he grabbed a couple of cans from the fridge. He made his way towards the cashier, but stopped as he reached the chocolate bars. He had a little browse, hoping that something would grab his attention. Nothing really did, so he continued towards the cashier. As the cashier was ringing his things through, Keitaro turned round to see the girl, but he didn't see her. Perhaps she was already outside.
    "Thank you." Keitaro said to the cashier as he bagged his things.
    "You're welcome, lad. Now, be quick or you'll lose her." Replied the cashier as Keitaro made his way quickly to the door.

    Akiko, lollypop in mouth, rolls slowly on her ATs away from the shop, waiting for Keitaro to catch up. Once he does, she smiles at him with a little giggle, and pushes forward with a burst of speed.

    "Come on!" She calls back playfully.

    If they could keep the speed up, it wouldn't be too long before they got to school. And school for Akiko, usually meant sleep.

    Keitaro watched as the girl put on a little burst of speed. She pulled away from him a little way before calling back to him. He grinned inwardly as he put on a burst of speed of his own. She had turned away for only a few moments, but he used this time to get up above the street. As he rode up a nearby wall, he watched the girl. She turned back, with a slight look of confusion on her face. He leapt off the wall, sailing past her to land a few feet in front of her. He quickly turned round to skate backwards. Kaitaro waited for the girl to turn round as quietly as he could.
